It is located in a historical, 16th century granary and presents natural environment collections in the field of geology, paleontology, botany, and zoology, coming mainly from the territory of the Kazimierz Landscape Park. The Museum has three permanent exhibitions: “The secrets of the extinct world”, “In the middle of the Vistula valley”, and “In the land of ravines”.
It is the only museum in Poland of its kind. Its highlight is the collection of old silver presented by Jędrzej Jaworski. A rich collection of worship silver and table silver from Polish and European manufacturers is on display here, dating from the 17th to the 20th century. Finally, a collection of contemporary goldsmith works can be viewed.
