The Vistula Museum with its following branches

It is the only museum in Poland of its kind. Its highlight is the collection of old silver presented by Jędrzej Jaworski. A rich collection of worship silver and table silver from Polish and European manufacturers is on display here, dating from the 17th to the 20th century. Finally, a collection of contemporary goldsmith works can be viewed.

It is located in a historical, 16th century granary and presents natural environment collections in the field of geology, paleontology, botany, and zoology, coming mainly from the territory of the Kazimierz Landscape Park. The Museum has three permanent exhibitions: “The secrets of the extinct world”, “In the middle of the Vistula valley”, and “In the land of ravines”.

Museum branch opened in 1993, located in a beautiful 17th century townhouse. Its collections reflect the history and culture of the town, as well as its artistic traditions. The museum collections include paintings, drawings, graphics, and handicraft.

A small literary museum housed in a beautiful villa built in 1936, according to a project by Karol Siciński, for the writer, Maria Kuncewiczowa and her husband, Jerzy. The ambiance of the house which feels as if its owners have only just left it, helps visitors learn about the life and creation of this outstanding woman.
