The commune Puławy
The gmina of Puławy lies on both sides of the Vistula River and occupies an area of 160 sq. km. Among the landscape resources of those territories, the following should be mentioned: the natural lakes Nur, Borowiec, and Matygi, the fauna reserve “Czapliniec” in the region of Gołąb, situated in the valleys of three rivers: the Vistula, Wieprz and Klikawka, large forest complexes, and clean air.
This website has been created in the course of the implementation of a project entitled "Multifunctional and two-language website of the Kazimierz Centre for Culture, Promotion and Tourism dedicated to the gmina of Kazimierz Dolny and the sub-region of the tourist triangle Kazimierz Dolny – Nałęczów – Puławy”, co-funded by Switzerland within the framework of a Swiss programme for cooperation with the new EU Member States “EUROchance for the Lublin region – creation of a social consensus for a balanced development of the sub-region in the cultural landscape of the tourist triangle: Nałęczów – Puławy – Kazimierz Dolny”.
