There are two churches in Markuszów. The former is the Parish Church dedicated to St. Joseph the groom, St. Michael Archangel and St. Margaret, built in the Lublin Baroque style in the second half of the 16th century, funded by the Firlej family. Inside the church, one can see, among others, two wooden altars with a baroque structure and rococo decorations.
In close proximity of Markuszów, in Łany village, a modest, wooden church can be found. It was built at the beginning of the 20th century by Rev. Piotr Goliński.
